Hi all,

Just got the droid eris from verizon unlocked. I only want to use it for wifi and texts and don't need the data plan.

How can I disable the 3G data connection so that I can still access wifi and receive texts?

Any advice/tips would be helpful. Thank you!

you can't really disable 3G, if you want to use Wi-Fi, just set that as default. good luck
