Hello

I currently have service with Voip from a famous company. And I am also either going to have to make a decision of dropping it or get a divorce. he..he, The service is really bad I must agree, dropped call, no technical support and just a laundry list of problems. I live in Europe would like to port my number can someone give me advise on a popular & reliable VOIP service?

Please give me reply

thanks

I have Vonage, and I do not have a local number. They will provide you service, but the number will be local to the closest city. I haven't found it to be a problem. Most call me from cell phones anyway.
Keep in mind that the service problems you have could be related to an inconsistent cable connection, which has more to do with your internet provider than with the voip service.

Hmm funny I never experienced any of those problems with my VOIP provider (iinet), the reception may be a tad worse than a regular phone line but it's dead cheap!

Vonage charges too much money for voip.
It is truly a rip off.

Use skype instead.
I have been using it for my home and business phone for two years with NO PROBLEMS. I bought the Linksys CIT400 for using skype just like a cordless phone.

I have Skype and love it. No major problems. Most VOIP's are not big on customer support as thats a cost to them You get to pick your number and a lot of times it's a local number.

Sometime you really get some problems with VOIP services but, if you go for some good service providers than you will not find any problems in setup and also with that you will get better customer support.

There are many service providers that will provide you with phone systems that are used in most of the small scale business.

Thanks

There are a huge number of VOIP providers available in the market such as skype. However if you want to try other providers who have lesser rates for calling then following are their list.
Web to phone
TheRealPBX
Ringcentral
PC to PHONE
vPHONE

Hi,
I feel that, if you find any local provider, then you will get quality services. You haven't specified the location in the query, specify the location. I am sure you will get the desired service provider's contacts here.
